Residential Commercial Company Solar News

We all wish life could go back to normal already, particularly as the start of the holiday season gets underway. But as true as it was at the beginning of this year and is still now, keeping our loved ones safe and healthy during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic remains our top priority.

Everyone here at Boston Solar remains strongly committed to our health and the health of our customers, just as it was on Day 1. Much like New England Patriots head Coach Belichick, we trust the process when it comes to our safety precautions both at home and in the field.

The changes we implemented early on are the ones we continue to maintain every day in practice, such as adding additional precautions before, during, and after each of our appointments and installations, regularly reviewing our company-wide health and safety protocols, and continuing to follow the recommendations from health experts and local and federal guidelines.

We understand the importance for our homeowners, families, and the businesses and communities we serve to stay safe and continue to limit the spread of this virus. Here are the specific measures of what we are doing to continue our community’s effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

Virtual Solar Appointments

By now pretty much everyone across America has probably mastered Zoom, with hopefully no embarrassing video call fails. Our solar consultants continue to offer virtual solar appointments via Zoom or by telephone where we will discuss your custom solar quote and answer any questions about going solar. We will continue to offer virtual appointments to adhere to social distancing guidelines as well as to provide peace of mind for your household as well as our team members.

Working Remotely To Serve You Best

The majority of our administrative staff continues to work remotely, where our teams can continue to practice social distancing. With a safe and healthy team, we can continue to operate and serve our customers at full administrative strength thanks to our strong digital business infrastructure.

While some essential staff is working work on-site in low capacity at our Boston Solar head office in Woburn, every in-office team member is taking the necessary precautions by wearing face masks, social distancing, and maintaining a clean office environment

Safe Solar Installations

For our teams and technicians that will be on-site working on your solar installation, we continue to uphold social distancing best practices and adhere to strict health and safety prevention measures. Our crews continue to drive and arrive at your site in separate vehicles for the protection of our staff, your family, and ours. We also provide the following sanitary equipment to all crews including:

  1. Gloves

  2. Face masks

  3. Hand sanitizers

  4. Cleaning supplies (disinfectant wipes, etc.)

  5. Portable sinks on site

Safety Remains Our Priority

The safety of our friends, family, and neighbors will always take precedence. The team at Boston Solar, from top to bottom, is committed to health and safety first and foremost for the long haul.
