Mike Morlino, President
Mike Morlino is a distinguished veteran who served 22 years in the United States Navy as a SEAL, including 15 years on the elite SEAL Team Six, where he developed teams, planned, and led complex operations globally. Before retiring from the Navy, Mike served as a program manager, overseeing the testing, evaluation, and implementation of new technologies aimed at improving the strategic and
tactical capabilities of SEAL Team Six and the broader US Special Operations community.
Prior to joining Boston Solar, Mike Morlino contributed significantly to Windjammer Capital Investors, managing operational improvement
projects at one of their portfolio companies, Fecon, a Cincinnati-based heavy equipment manufacturer.
Mike holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute
of Technology’s Sloan School of Management
Stephan McPhee, VP of Operations
With more than fifteen years of experience in the field and an impressive tenure of over 20 years in leadership positions, Stephan McPhee brings a wealth of expertise in navigating the fast-paced, high-volume growth operations of solar companies.
Before coming to Boston Solar in 2021, Stephan spent a decade refining his expertise in solar, building out scalable business operations at Sunrun, Nexamp, and SunBug. Over his career, Stephan built, developed, and led teams to complete thousands of residential solar
projects.
As VP of Operations, Stephan’s leads the company’s largest department, overseeing all aspects of PV, energy storage, and EV charging from sale to post-installation, as well as all O&M operations.
Stephan holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Boston Architectural College.
