$0 Upfront Cost
The leasing company covers the full cost of your system: design, permits, panels, and installation.
No Debt, No Loan
Get a payment structure similar to a solar loan, without taking on debt, loan fees, or interest.
$0 Maintenance Costs
The leasing company owns the panels, so service and maintenance are their responsibility, never yours.

Common Questions
Power Purchase Agreement FAQs
How is a PPA different from a solar loan?
The monthly payment structure feels similar, but with a PPA you never take on debt. A leasing company funds and owns the system; you simply pay a low monthly rate to use the power it produces. No loan application, no interest, no loan fees.
Do I really pay nothing upfront?
Correct. $0 upfront. The leasing company pays to design, permit, install, and activate the solar energy system on your roof. Your only cost is the low monthly payment once the system is producing power.
How much will I actually save?
Savings depend on how much electricity your panels generate and what you currently pay the utility. A PPA is structured so the amount you save on your electric bill is greater than your monthly PPA payment, meaning savings are designed to start immediately. Your free quote will show your specific numbers.
Who fixes the panels if something goes wrong?
The leasing company does, at no cost to you. Because they own the system, all service and maintenance is their responsibility for the life of the agreement.
What if my panels underproduce?
Your PPA includes a 90% production guarantee. If the system produces less than 90% of its projected output, you’re credited for the difference.
Can I claim the federal solar tax credit with a PPA?
No, and we’re upfront about that. Tax credits and most incentives reward ownership, so they go to the leasing company. The trade-off is $0 upfront cost, no debt, and no maintenance responsibility. Net metering still works in your favor. If capturing incentives matters more to you, we also offer purchase and loan options.
Is my home a good fit for a PPA?
The best way to know is a free consultation. We’ll look at your roof, sun exposure, and current electric usage, then show you exactly what a PPA would look like for your home, with zero obligation.
